The past few days has been physical hell as I caught a bad case of illness suddenly.. Causing me to sleep in excess of around 30 hours to recover partially. In these 30 hours, I had no dreams but in the moments I was awake, I saw Leila sitting next to me comforting me. In much pain the repetitiveness of her questioning aggravated me but I see how I was wrong to be as such.. (I am happy I could see your face with the dim light of a candle behind you. )
Without this waking moments, all that lay wait for me was a pitch black silence where time passes by. This is quite frightening to me as an equivalent to what death would be like. Logically, without religion taken into account, if.. no when we pass on.. we are left empty and I pray our consciousness does not stay around as being stuck in that black space is more frightening than hell itself I can tell you..
It's the epitome of being lost and it's dreadful.
We all have the fixed idea that when we sleep we will get up and go about our daily lives but I I fear not waking up and being stuck in such stasis. Probably a picking into my own recent insomnia I've developed over the years.
Be thankful you are able to open your eyes (to see your loved ones), hear the birds chirp as the sun rises and feel the breeze on your skin.
Ironically, this was shot the day I woke up... of a hospital..
